About Us Faragalla group was founded in 1973 by Eng. Mohamed Farag Amer who is now the chairman of the industrial complex. The group currently is considered to be one of the biggest and most diversified food companies in the Middle East. The industrial operations are located at New Borg El-Arab city. Under this group there are 3 separate food processing companies which are The Egyptian company for freezing and beef processing, The Egyptian food company &The Egyptian Company for Food Development Faragalla consists of 28 factories and all of them are certified for ISO 22000, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and HACCP in additional to FDA. Faragalla group produces over one thousand different products in the field of processed meat and chicken, frozen vegetables & fruits, concentrated fruit juices and pulp, packed fruit juices in glass and tetrapak, confectioneries, bakeries, tomato paste , jams, processed cheese, chicken stock and instant juice powder etc. Faragalla different factory installations cover over 500000 sqm. Message from the CEO Dear Sirs Since we started our food manufacturing business in 1973 up till today, I feel that we are right in focusing our efforts and the group believes around 3 major factors: FIRST: Customer / Strategic relationship. The resulting effect is that many clients have come to view "Faragalla" as a trusted partner rather than simply a supplier. Faragalla now operates over 25 production divisions which contribute to our client's market needs and satisfaction. SECOND: Technical leadership in process/ product application and formulation. Technology and innovation are at the heart of our group initiatives. The revenues as a percent of sales from new products introduced during the last five years has increased dramatically, as we continue to invest in research & development, under world regulatory compliance. THIRD: International exposure and expansion through technology transfer agreements and franchise protocols. The year 1995 has marked a cooperation between Faragalla group & McDonald's Egypt. Faragalla group supplies Chili's restaurants chains with its products since 2001 until now. Faragalla group supplies the MFO with many products. Supplying united nations in many areas. Two years ago, Faragalla established a joint venture with Danone. Through our group network, Faragalla has marketed products outside Egypt for more than 20 years. Our brands are now represented in 6 continents and nearly 120 countries.
